Make in India Lion - the spirit of “Atmanirbhar Bharat”

This is a magnificent 10-foot-tall sculpture of the iconic “Make in India” lion, symbolizing India’s manufacturing strength and innovation.

The sculpture is a masterpiece of industrial art, crafted entirely from recycled automobile scraps, skillfully assembled to represent both mechanical ingenuity and national pride. Each element used in its construction reflects the essence of India’s engineering and industrial capability.

Materials used in the sculpture include:

  • ⚙️ Scrap Ball Bearings – providing the texture and intricate metallic detailing across the lion’s surface.

  • ⛓️ Timing Chains – symbolizing strength, unity, and interconnectedness within the Indian industrial ecosystem.

  • 🧱 Iron Sheets – forming the base structure, ensuring durability and robustness.

  • 🔩 Mild Steel Flat Pieces – used for reinforcement and structural balance.

  • 🔷 Hexagonal Nuts – adding fine mechanical detail and aesthetic texture.

  • ⚙️ Gear Axles – embodying the power and motion of Indian industry.

The entire structure, meticulously designed and welded, showcases how creativity and sustainability can merge to form a national emblem — a roaring lion built from the very materials that drive India’s manufacturing growth.

This sculpture is not just a visual marvel but a symbol of resilience, recycling, and the spirit of “Atmanirbhar Bharat” (Self-Reliant India) — a testament to the transformative potential of the Make in India initiative.
